This game is simply excellent. It has a huge world, deep combat, a good story and memorable characters. I completely recommend this title IF: you have an iPad (the phone is just too small); you are willing to take some time to learn the game mechanics (it can take a bit to get going); you can accept a RPG where some choices are "wrong" ones (you can be evil but there will be consequences) And after you finish this lengthy game get ready for an even better sequel.

If you do not have the ability to let players import characters to other games the least you can do is put a warning somewhere (preferably at the top or bottom of the description so it wi be noticed). I personally only bought BG1 so I can build my characters from the ground up. Offer this function so I dont need to use 3rd party apps to do this, or find a way to tell people this before they buy it and play through the game, and Ill happily change to a 5 start rating. Or dont.

But a game that thrusts purchases in your face immediately after paying the high intro price is an automatic 1 star. Great game, though.

A terrible interface and many bugs ruin this remake of what was once an excellent game. A classic game like this deserves a team that actually cares about the original.

...made even better by being ported to the iPad. Amazing!! And all the improvements are great, I just cant go back to vanilla after all this. HUGE kudos, best money Ive ever spent.

First of all, I would like to thank the people who have come up with this. Im a guy a on the go, and this game redefined my value of IPad. The poignant quotes of the Forgotten Realm inhabitants, turning enemies into meatballs (the comical gore), the magics, and all.....Its another world I virtually live in kind of. My mother even told me how happy I looked while I was playing! I am looking forward to playing the sequels!! Once again, thank you! (From an early 30s guy)

I played the original ten years ago in my pc and this is a solid version in iPad. I think I prefer the iPad version even. If you dont know about this game, that is so good.

Im getting the feedback I need and which already worked on the Mac OS X version. If anything, I like it even better on iPad now that I can reliably work the screen controls, except some of the scrolls, which I still need to work with the arrows at either end. But its a big improvement in other ways. Keep up the good work.

Game of my life.

I finished most of the pc rpgs lik icewind dale, neverwinter etc. But never had chance to play BG. Those who cannot remember the name, it is one of the godfather of its genre. Usually ipad games for casual players thats why it is suprised me to see the name. What could we ask for, one of the best on a mobile platform. Usually ı download free or 1 $ games bur definetly it worth the money.

Everything is fine except doors and enterances. It takes sometimes few minutes to hit on enterance trigger, please try to make it easier (some button?). Thank you for this game! :)

Great. Everything worka but there is one REALLY annoying exception: side bar hiding. Sometimes they hide when you missclick party leader or return to game button. And then there is no way you can show it again.

I cant believe I play my all time favourite game on my iPhone! The only thing that I can complain is too small button that shows a side bar back. If I accidentally hide it, theres no way I can click the button and show it back!

Ive been waiting for this game as long as I have an iPad. Thats definitely my best appstore purchase.

Dear developer, i have some problems with playing process in BG. When I played your awesome game last time, the left & right panel in game run off & now this panel doesnt run on, so i cant play this game( Can you help me, please? -iphone 5s

Game crushes after trying to join any server in multiplayer mode. Will you fix it?

Everything is awesome, BUT on iPhone 5 if you close side panels, you cant open them!!! Please remove the option to close side panels or do something else about that and Ill give 5 stars! You declare that it is optimized for iPhone 5 but for the moment it is not. Please check 2-nd part of the game for that before release it for iPhone 5!

Thanks for russian text with a nice font! The one last frustrating thing remaining is that the game uses default video player ui. Skipping the rest movie with something like double tap (without the need to see that progress bar and all) would feel much more suitable.

Just enable Zoom in device Settings, then scroll down to tiny buttons in the left and right corners and tap them. Otherwise they are not clickable.
